The Great River Tug Fest
Watch ten 20 member tug teams pull a
2,400 foot, 680 pound rope that spans the
Mississippi River between Illinois and Iowa.
The winning team claims the alabaster Bald Eagle in flight statue.
This is a family week-end event, parade, fireworks, fun for all.

Sergeant Floyd Memorial
Encampment and Burial Cemetery.
The grounds are transformed into an 1804 living history encampment
featuring re-enactors in full dress, tents, camp equipment and firearms
used by the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
They will recreate the burial of Sergeant Floyd,
the only member of the expedition to die on the journey.
