National American Legion Pilgrimage and dignitaries will walk from downtown Springfield to President Lincoln’s tomb on his birthday. In a touching and patriotic ceremony wreaths from American Legion Posts around the country will be placed on the Tomb of our 16th President. Patriotic songs will be sung and dignitaries will address those present.
